I've always liked the colors in this particular painting by Monet. I'm thinking of using some of these colors in a painting of some Amish women working in the field.
I believe this painting by Monet is in a private collection somewhere but I can't seem to find who actually owns it. Anyway, it's one of my favorites.

I bet monet had to wait a while to get just the right light, and then capture it quickly. This painting depicts a splendid moment, passing as it was.
