I also put one or two layers of foam core board behind the PVC panel to add support and make it level with the back of the frame. Thanks for the comment. White PVC...LindieLee,<br /> Thanks for the comment. White PVC panels come in 4 X 8 foot sheets and are 1 mm up to about 5 mm thick. I prime them with a sherman williams primer which bonds the oil paint to the pvc panel. I've been painting on pvc panels instead of canvas for about nine years now and it works great. It's cheaper to buy, easier to work with and will last a thousand years or more.
